Event Overview

  • Event Purpose: FAST Breadhouse highlights the delectable desserts that resulted from a blend of Filipino and other external cultural influences. Baking has had early roots into the country as it was first introduced by European colonizers back in the 1700s. Their intertwined history is reflected throughout the menu, showcasing how the Philippines developed into a melting pot of Spanish, Chinese, American, and other cultures. Despite their adverse colonial past, Filipinos stand today with pride, celebrating their resilience. All dishes were made by the executive board with the exception of the bread (ensaymada, ensaymada ube, and pan de sal).
