Responsibilities
Directed daily operations and managed a team of 12 instructors by coordinating schedules and training programs
Developed an individualized curriculum for each of our 154 students and facilitated communication with parents about their progress
Created special test preparation program for students applying to prestigious high schools such as Bergen County Academies and Academies at Englewood and for those participating in American Mathematics Competitions (AMC)
Executed 3 in-center events per month such as Movie Night, Art Night, and Chess Night with a fixed budget
Collaborated with nearby businesses and introduced Mathnasium discount and stamp cards specific to enrolled families
Impact
Improved efficiency in workflow and introduced new technology for the staff to utilize; 97% reported they preferred the new system
Built rapport with the parents and the community through events and collaborations, increasing enrollment by 10 students a month
90% of students who were behind caught up to their level or progressed beyond
Out of 15 students applying to high schools with an entrance exam, about 87% advanced to the next stage
